NOTE: Due to COVID 19, the following changes have been implemented for 2020 season - a. Fortune Visitor Information will not be open but information dispensers have been attached to the Fortune Head Geology Centre Bldg.
b. Marystown & Goobies VICs will have window service available at each Centre along with information dispensers on each bldg.
c. Office will not be open, but the main line and email service is available. Messages left on 709-279-1887 will be automatically sent as an email address for the Organization.

Getting Here Arriving in the beautiful province of Newfoundland & Labrador by ferry, Goobies is the gateway to the Burin Peninsula and the Heritage Run. Located on the Trans Canada Highway, 159 km West of Argentia and 744 km East of Port aux Basques.Two international airports serve Newfoundland: Gander to the West and St. John's, the provincial capital, to the East. Both are just 170 km from Goobies.
Heritage Run Tourism Association (HRTA) is Burin Peninsula's Regional Tourism Association. This Tourism Association has been around since the 80s but was incorporated in 1992.
Mandate: Market the Burin Peninsula to the resident and non-resident visitor.
