Located on the Trans Canada Highway, 159 km West of Argentia and 744 km East of Port aux Basques.Two international airports serve Newfoundland: Gander to the West and St. John's, the provincial capital, to the East. Heritage Run Tourism Association (HRTA) is Burin Peninsula's Regional Tourism Association. This Tourism Association has been around since the 80s but was incorporated in 1992.
